Our Design Approach

We work primarily in modern minimalist and contemporary residential design — clean lines, considered material palettes, and spaces that photograph well but more importantly live well.

We don't impose a house style. We start with how you live: do you cook seriously? Do you have children? Do you work from home? Do you entertain? The answers shape the design before the aesthetics do.

Materials we work with frequently: large-format porcelain tiles, engineered stone countertops, textured laminate cabinetry, vinyl plank flooring, fluted panels, architectural lighting (cove, linear, spot).

Do you charge a separate design fee?

No. Studio D3's design fee is included in the renovation contract. We produce 3D concepts, space plans, and material boards as part of the project — not as a separate billable engagement. This keeps things simple and aligns our incentives with yours.

Can I just hire Studio D3 for interior design without the construction?

We work primarily as a design-build firm. Our designers and construction team are integrated — the design is developed with buildability and real material costs in mind. We don't typically offer design-only services, as the quality of our output depends on controlling both sides of the process.

How many revisions do I get on the 3D design?

We include revisions until you're happy with the concept before construction starts. Our goal is to ensure you're confident in the design before a single tile is purchased. We'd rather spend time on design changes than undo completed work.
